The Chair of descriptive geometry and engineering graphics was founded in 1962.

Academic and methodological work of the chair is featured for its employees' participation in educational process at the Faculties of Industrial and Civil Engineering, Forest Engineering, Agriculture and Physical Engineering.

The main scientific activity of the Chair is descriptive geometry research and application of results in the field of reconstruction of architectural objects and metric photography.
