The team of PetrSU has become the silver medallist of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) 2010

The team of PetrSU and Prof. Bill Poucher, executive director of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) (photo from the official site of the 2010 ACM-ICPC World Finals http://cm.baylor.edu)The Wx team of Petrozavodsk State University has won silver medals in the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) 2010 in Harbin (China).

During the contest Denis Denisov, Ilya Nikolaevskiy and Alexey Nikolaevskiy have solved 6 of 11 problems and on results of the finals have won the 5 place having yielded only the timing to the four golden teams.

Host of the World Finals 2010 the team of Shanghai Jiaotong University became the World Champion.

The second place in the contest and the title of the Champion of Europe went to the team of Moscow State University.

Our congratulations to Karelian programmers, their coach Denis Vlasov and heads of Karelian delegation in Harbin - President of the University Professor Viktor Vasiliev and Professor Vladimir Kuznetsov on their success!
