Delegation of Oulu (Finland) in PetrSU

Delegation of the Finnish city Oulu visited Petrozavodsk State University. The delegation includes Kari Juntunen - Head of Association of communes of higher and secondary vocational education of the province of Oulu, Lauri Lanto - Rector of Oulu Polytechnic and Risto Kimari, Dean of the Engineering Faculty.

During the visit partners from Finland met with administration of PetrSU, discussed various aspects of cooperation with representatives of the Directorate for international cooperation of the university and visited Regional Center of New Information Technologies of the university.

Rector of PetrSU Professor Anatoly Voronin has told to the guests about our university, academic programs offered at the Faculty of Industrial and Civil Engineering and expressed willingness to cooperate with Finnish colleagues. Then representatives of the Directorate for international cooperation of Petrozavodsk State University and their Finish partners discussed various ways and the most perspective directions of teamwork.

Deputy director of the Directorate for international cooperation of PetrSU A.Berdino guided an introductory excursion on the RCNIT having presented achievements of the university in the field of Internet and GIS-technologies.

Representatives of Finland have come to Karelia to discuss cooperation in the sphere of training experts in construction engineering, social sphere and public health services.
