The report of students majoring in economics was the best at the scientific conference for Oxford Russian Fund Scholarship holders Challenges of globalization and perspectives for humanity in the contemporary world

On April 23 and 24, Urals State University has held a scientific conference for Oxford Russian Fund Scholarship holders, under the title Challenges of globalization and perspectives for humanity in the contemporary world.

The basic directions of work of the conference have been devoted to communication strategy in the XXI century, political transformations in the modern world, social and cultural identity in the changing world and other actual problems.

Work of the conference has been organized within the six workshops. At the workshop Russian markets under the conditions of global financial instability the report of senior students of the Faculty of Economics Svetlana Vasilenko and Xenia Ivanova Republic of Karelia under conditions of the world financial crisis has won the first place among 26 reports which also included reports made by students from the Higher School of Economics (Moscow).
