In May, 2009 archeologic expedition of Petrozavodsk State University led by A.Zhulnikov, Ph.D. in History, has examined cape Peri Nos VI on Onego lake.
During the research the expedition has discovered new petroglyphs on the plate which has broken off in time immemorial from the cape's ending under the influence of pressure of ice. Archeologists have managed to define the initial arrangement of stone plates with petroglyphs.
Research enables to reconstruct initial shape of grandiose rock carving which, in turn, is witnessing to the mysteries held by ancient people on the coast of Onego lake.
New discoveries on Onego lake will help to learn secrets of mysterious signs on cape Peri Nos.
