Results of the II All-Russia contest of scientific and creative works of international undergraduate and post-graduate students

Results of the II All-Russia contest of scientific and creative works of international undergraduate and post-graduate students were summed up. The contest passed on the basis of Tomsk polytechnical university at the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation, Federal Education Agency and Foreign Student Association of Russia.

The contest goal was both supporting scientific and creative initiative of international students trained in Russia, and development of international polycultural educational environment in institutions of higher education and forming favorable public opinion about creative and scientific activity of foreign students. For each participant the contest was a great opportunity to reveal one's individuality, creativity and show the Russian language skills.

The contest conprised such actions as: the exhibition, eound table, workshop conference and gala-concert where more than 150 students and post-graduate students of Russian institutions of higher education participated.

A student from Norway Jonas Hinriksen Gjervold who studied in our university within 2007-2008 academic year represented PetrSU in the contest. His newspaper article The Norwegian Youth Festival was awarded with a Diploma of the contest.
