Results of performance of the Karelian schoolchildren on the VIIth Russian Youth Scientific and Engineering Exhibition Step into the Future

On the closing ceremony of Petrozavodsk city conference of schoolchildren Step into the Future the Karelian delegation of participants of the VIIth Russian Youth Scientific and Engineering Exhibition Step into the Future held in Moscow from February 3 till February 7 on the basis of the Moscow State Technical University named after N.Bauman at the support of Administration of the President of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, Ministry of Science and Technology of the Russian Federation. 

At the All-Russian exhibition 55 best works of young researchers and students selected by results of regional conferences and competitions from 25 regions of Russia were shown. Five schoolchildren whose works were named the best by the coordination center of the program Step into the Future on the Republic of Karelia at PetrSU by results of the Republican exhibition Step into the Future spoke in support of the honour of republic and have achieved high results in Moscow. Now they should compete for places in several teams of the Russian Federation that will participate in international competitions, forums and exhibitions of young scientists in Europe, USA and China.

Results of performance of the Karelian schoolchildren in Moscow:

Ksenia Rogova and Natalia Zubkova (University Liceum) with the work The Key to Secrets of the Stone Book have received:

  • The winner's diploma of the national competition, the large scientific medal and a valuable present;
  • Glass Globe as a special prize;
  • Diploma of the magazine Science and Life and the annual subscription to the magazine;
  • The certificate of the candidate in the national team of the Russian Federation for participation in competition of young scientists of the European union (Budapest, Hungary, on September 20-26, 2003); 
  • Recommendation for the publication in the collection of articles of the program Step into the Future.

Ksenia Rogova has received the diploma of the 1st grade and a valuable present in the nomination "The Best Presentation of the Work in English". 

Natalia Zubkova has received the diploma of the 3rd grade and a valuable present in the nomination "The Best Presentation of the Work in English". 

Marina Zuyeva (University Liceum) with the work Representation of One-Sheet and Two-Sheet Hyperboloids as Sets of Circles has won:

  • The diploma in the professional nomination "The Best Work in the Field of Mathematics", the small scientific medal and a valuable present ;
  • The certificate of the candidate in the national delegation of the Russian Federation for participation in International Youth Forum in London (Great Britain, June 24 - August 6, 2003.);
  • Recommendation to enter a higher educational institution;
  • Recommendation for the publication in the collection of articles of the program Step into the Future

Oksana Shamsieva (Liceum N40) with the work Quality Standard of Herbs' Raw Material of Karelia under Modern Conditions of Environment has won:

  • The diploma of the exhibition and a valuable prize;
  • ăThe letter of edition of the Home Lliceum magazine and semi-annual subscription to this magazine;
  • The certificate of the candidate in the national delegation of the Russian Federation for participation in International scientific and engineering exhibition Intel JSEF (Cleveland, Ohio, the USA, on May 11-17, 2003.);
  • Recommendation for the publication in the collection of articles of the program Step into the Future

Gleb Boroulia (University Liceum) with the work The Proof of the Two-Way Dependence Between Maldelbrot' and Gulia's Sets has won:

  • The diploma of the exhibition and a valuable prize;
  • The certificate of the candidate in the national delegation of the Russian Federation for participation in the International competition of scientific and technical inventions of youth (Lanzkhou, the Province to Hansu, China, in July of 2003);
  • Recommendation for the publication in the collection of articles of the program Step into the Future
