PetrSU at the 7th international seminar of Russian and Finnish universities (Turku, Finland)

On November 17-18, University of Turku welcomed the 7th international seminar of Russian and Finnish universities.

Representatives of more than 50 educational institutions of Russia and Finland, as well as the Federal Agency of the Russian Federation for Accreditation, Nordic Council of Ministers, Center of International Mobility (CIMO) have taken part in the seminar.

Rector of the University of Turku Keijo Virtanen, rector of the St.-Petersburg University of Economy and Finance I.Maksimtsev and Consul General of the Russian Federation in Turku A.Sverchkov opened the seminar.

Participants of the seminar have heard the reports and discussed tendencies of development of education systems of the two countries, joint participation in projects of Tempus, Erasmus Mundus, FIRST, North2north, further development of academic mobility, joint curricula, degrees, summer/winter schools and intensive courses.

Head of the Directorate for International Cooperation ofPetrSU Lyudmila Kulikovskaya taken part in the seminar and presented a joint report there.
