Tasks of the Directorate for social development
Major tasks of the Directorate for social development of PetrSU are the following:
- Follow the state policy in the social sphere providing necessary conditions for execution of constitutional rights of citizens of Russia to receive state social guarantees and privileges.
- Guarantee observance of legislation of the Russian Federation, decisions of boards and orders of the Federal Agency for Education of the Russian Federation, administration, conferences of labour collective, Learned Council of PetrSU concerning social development.
- Together with trade-union organizations, public organizations, interested ministries and departments to develop and implement measures for social protection of students, post-graduate students and employees of the university, improvement of conditions of their work, life, recreation, etc.
- At participation of faculties and divisions of PetrSU to develop and guarantee performance of university programs of social development on the basis of long-term federal, regional, and republican programs.
- Assist to employment of students, graduates and other job-seeking competitors on the basis of operating database, adaptation of competitors to conditions of the market, communicate with PetrSU alumni, assist the process of integration of the European North of Russia into the uniform scientific, educational and economic space in the field of peopleware as a whole.
