The students' organization of the Trade Union (hereinafter SOTU) is the most mass public organization of students of PetrSU. The students become members of our organization automatically upon enrolling in the university. Work of the organization is headed by the students' trade-union committee. Chairman of the SOTU of PetrSU is Kosenkov Ilya Sergeevich. It is difficult to ensure the work with 5000 students by the small collective, therefore we frequently enlist students - members of the students' trade-union organization. Students receive the information on work of trade-union committee through the trade-union organizers, information stands and the university newspaper, and also through the Internet.
