The Russian Language Testing Centre of the NEOU PetrSU for citizens of foreign countries was founded in January 2005 according to the agreement on the Leading Testing Centre of the Federal Agency on Education of the Russian Federation (Moscow). The Centre is the regional one.

The testing helps control the quality of specialists’ training for foreign countries and evaluate the preparation of the foreign citizens to establish business contacts with Russian and Russian-speaking partners for successful business in Russia and abroad. The testing system was created by the Federal Agency on Education of the Russian Federation as a purpose-oriented programme “The Russian Language”.

At the centre multi-level testing is carried out to test a foreign citizen’s suitability to become a member of the Russian Federation. The results of testing are certified by the certificate which is accepted by the Association of Language Testers in Europe (ALTE)

More than ten people have passed the test and got certificates since the beginning of working of the Regional Testing Centre NEOU PetrSU.

The specialists of the centre teach Russian for preparation to pass the testing.
